Province Area Days

The Province of Rosalie Rendu held four Area Meetings in Sydney 9-11 May ; London 1st June; Glasgow 10th June and Southport 11th June. They were wonderful gatherings as it was the first time in two years that we have been physically able to gather because of COVID restrictions. Each day in GB began with a Gathering Prayer followed by a PowerPoint reflection on the global pandemic and the trauma we have all been through. After very powerful discussion we recognised that many of us are psychologically and physically in “different places” but we are slowly moving back into reconnection and ministry. After lunch we celebrated a very moving “Mass of Remembrance” for all our Sisters who have died in the Province during these past two years. Each Sister was named and a candle lit for her. We also prayed for family members, colleagues and friends who died during Covid times. In the afternoon we listened to the OGF Team who focused our attention on our shared COMMON MISSION. This was followed by an update as to where the Province is regarding our understanding of MISSION HEARTS and how they are begin to be taken forward in each area in unique and creative ways. The day finished with a prayerful Evening Prayer followed by lots of chat and refreshments.
